Magnat MA 400, is an amplifier stereo hi-fi for connoisseurs in audio sphere. The MA 400 is an integrated amplifier and has an incorporating a tube preamplifier with ECC88 double triodes, and the power amplifier with special audio IC and a phono input for moving magnet pickup systems.
Design of that amplifier is classical and simple with colour versions black, robust housing with milled, 5 mm thick aluminium front panel, high-grade controls made of solid machined aluminium, simple menu-guided operation, clear legible alphanumeric display, system remote control for all functions and a weight of 5,8 kg.
For MA 400 we have a sophisticated power supply with generously dimensioned toroidal transformer and mains voltage 230 VAC / 50 Hz with power consumption maximal at 150 W.
Amplifier output power to the Magnat MA 400 is 20 Hz – 20 kHz, THD < 1.0%, and impedance of 4 Ohm 2 x 40 W. The nominal power is 20 Hz – 20 kHz, THD < 1.0%, and impedance of 8 Ohm 2 x 32 W. At the other ways we have 4 high-level inputs, additional 3,5 mm audio input (headphone jack) on the front panel for connecting portable devices.
Peak of system is 1 kHz, 4 Ohm 150 W and the frequency response to the CD/Tuner/Aux/Line/Tape is 8 Hz – 120 kHz (-3,0 dB). Also for the CD/Tuner/Aux/Line/Tape input sensitivity is 550 mV/10 kOhm and S/N ratio is 95 dB.
The subsonic filter is 16 Hz, 18 dB/Oct. and for Phono MM 2 mV/47 kOhm, Phono MM 80 dB and Phono 20 Hz – 20 kHz (+/-0,3 dB).
